    Public Patent Foundation might be a good group to approach about the smart parts fiasco, but it might just be too small potatoes for'em. oh well. noticed them cause of this slashdot.org story

    That's funny. The first page of the PUBPAT website describes what Smart Parts is doing.

    They are filing against Microsoft because the FAT format was obvious. Isn't it also obvious that an electronic paintball gun will need a battery and switch?
