Nope. If so, ATS wouldn't be still making their chain fed markers.

Do you really hate q-loaders THAT much?

The Q-Loader uses spring tension to load the Warp Feed doesn't. Even if Tom did have a patent on the Warp Feed the Q-Loader doesn't fall into that category.

      Luke hates the Q-Loader?

Ya' know...that Q-Loader doesn't seem natural. Cool, but not natural. I'm still debating wether to look into one or not...Maybe if I could try one out...or get one donated.....

No, whats not natural is batteries and circuit boards, the Q loader is all natural =P

          AGD Did someone call me?

You should go to each gun manufacturers forum or call them up. Ask the OWNER of the company why his gun is better. When you get your answers come back here and tell us what they said.

You should buy my gun because I have 5000 posts that say I care.

the only law the Q-loader breaks is the law of fugly...man it breaks it with a passion, and people thought the warp was awkward looking.

There's a guy at my field who put one on his Stock Class Phantom for fun. Unexpectedly, he got it to look amazing. He has the Q-pod hooked up behind the grip like a tank would mount. It's by far the lightest gun I've ever seen, almost lighter than a talon. Yes, he takes it off for stock play, but for normal use it's amazingly cool. He always gets weird look for it, until they try it, then they want it, lol.

AFAIK Ancient has a few patents for the Q... It's loosely based on
the Calico helical feed system, but is a completely different beast
than TK's system... As I recall, the chainfeed is actually much closer
to TK's relevant patent, (not the warp feed one)...

You can think of it as 6 calico feed systems intertwined with dual
internal screws rotating opposite vs. the single internal feed of
the calico (to compensate for the fragility of paint)...

Ugly? Hmm... I think all hoppers are ugly, ATS's chainfeed notwithstanding.
You'll also find that non-paintball players find the Q much more aesthetically
pleasing than the Halo/egg/etc... The warp doesn't get rid of the hopper,
it just moves it. I have to say this...

is the only time I thought a warp looked like it really belongs there...

That said, I don't see a problem with the Q at all. Here's an old pic of mine.

I think Halos and Riccos look sexy
Everyone has an opinion, some people even think Q-loaders and warpfeeds look sexy.

I say it's personal preference which one you choose to use.

why am i the only one who sees a gun doesnt care what loader is on it? although i just adjusted my q loader and its pretty much the tightest profile you'll get on a gun and i think that is hot

I dislike how all loaders look, but guess what? Theres no other option other than the AT chain drive thing, then you're limited on number of balls.
