Trouble getting barrel into the gun now...

Ever since I got the new superbolt and plastic nubbins I can't hardly get my Boomstick barrel into the gun anymore. I thought I had read somewhere on here that you could put some grease on the barrel o-rings and a little inside the gun body too. Anybody have any suggestions ?

Other than brute force, you could try shaving a bit of plastic off of the back of the nubbin.

      ok but...

When I first got the superbolt/plastic nubbins a week or so ago I didn't have any problems getting my barrel in. And after I oiled it a couple days ago the barrel really slid in nice. Now the damn barrel takes 3 men and a boy to get it in. You would think that it should have been hard to get in from day one, but it wasn't until Sunday when I played. I guess I'll keep the gun oiled up and see if it makes a difference. And maybe shave off some plastic too. I was getting breaks in the barrel (away from the powerfeed opening). Maybe the nubbin is causing the breaks too.
