    I just got my alias about 4 hours ago from stopping by paintballgear finally...


    ...the ONLY that worries me is that i ca't use oil on the gun...its says even light oil will ruin the o-rings...but its not that bad...i dont have an asa to drop oil into cause i have a max flow...

    ...well now i need to get some grease

    ...i plan on having pics tonight its its own thread...

    BTW...ITS FREAKING LIGHT!
    ...halo/ul barrel/88-4500 max flow/gun is lighter than a stock e-mag

    ...i wieghed my gun to be around 4 lbs (ahh...life is good)

                        Have you looked into Vikings. You could get a custom Viking for the price of an Alias. It wouldn't be as light, but if you think 3lbs is heavy you need to address some other issues. It will be just as fast(2k3 comes with WAS and 2k4 comes with Pandora), plus you can drop in a 25g switch if it doesn't already have it. Also, it's resale will stay up for a while, the Timmys resale will go down when a new one comes out. You can't beat the efficiency or reliability of a Viking. Throw a Mitey Max on there and you'll have a gun with practically 0 kick. I love my Viking and it's not even custom, just some ups, but it keeps up with anything.

                            Ever check out the ICD 04 Freestyles? They now have a better valve, .45 grip, and are supposedly very fast with no kick. Just an option.

                                I'm pretty sure they do not have a 45 grip frame.
