    AGD air compressor?

A friend of mine found an air compressor that he says is made by AGD. Its called the "FX EZ Compressor II" or something along those lines. The site he found it on had it listed at eing something around $1200. I figured if it was really made by AGD i could maybe get a better price from someone on here...

The compressor is acually made in Swedan, Airguns of Arizona is one the US distributors. They also carry a hand pump, that does the same thing, 110 strokes for approx. 3 ci of volume at 3000 psi....thats a lot of work, my 90 ci would take all day to fill....

Oh BTW, someone on ebay is selling the hand pumps for twice what Airguns of Az is selling them for...

ok whats the difference between the first and second one? My team could easily get the money together for this if I can talk them into it. Our closest air compressor is like 45 min away. We were going to get scuba tanks but this look like a good deal we'd still have to get at least one scuba for this though wouldn't we? Anyone got any info on this it doesnt provide to much.

Guys .618 cfm sucks. I called the guy yesterday, he said it takes 25 minutes to top off a SCUBA tank from 2500 to 3000 psi.....

                        It'd take 20 minutes to fill a 68/4.5 tank.

                        68 x 306 bar = 20808ci = ~12 cubic feet

                        12cf / .618cf/m = 17.6 minutes.

Maybe if you got one per team member

But, one of these attached to a cascade system of 2, 3, or 4 SCUBAs (or better 6000 psi reservoirs) to top them off would be adequate for a team for the day.

With SCUBAs in cascade, the compressor only has to meet average demand not peak demand. The sizing of the reservoirs would be determined by the peak demand.
