These rumors were released by a now former Miami Effect player last night on E-Money radio in Southern California. Apparently Miami Effect players were unhappy with contractual agreements with the NXL, unlike the newly formed Detroit Strange (www.strangegear.com) they feel they can make more money playing Division 1 as well as the NPPL.

No word yet as to what the new name of the old Miami Effect will be, if all of the Miami Effect players left, and if the new owner of the team will retain the Miami Effect name/location. According to the E-Money report, the franchise was purchased by Smart Parts.

yes Dynasty prolly just got the NXL franchise bid. And to the person abover me the reason that Laysoa left avalance is he sorta hated Ed Poorman, all the effect players sorta hated Ed Poorman just a little P.S. Rocky prolly would have been playing for Effect if he didnt have the WDP contract. but he hated poorman as well.

As for Dynasty, I doubt they'll take it. That would preclude them from the Super 7 and Millenium Series. Effect is leaving to play all 3 series, why would Dynasty want less?

dynasty will not become an nxl team. i read it somewhere in pbn one of the dynasty players posted that they would much rather play division one xball and be able to play S7 and millenium. besides if dynasty went nxl that would mean that all three of smarts parts pro teams would be playing in the same league. they can play three times the events by not being franchised.

I really wish miami stayed in NXL, and avalanche, ND's and dynasty all moved over to nxl. All this different league politics is so stupid and nothing more then hurt the sport IMO
