    Outline Warp Shell ?

In the description Tom says: "On front and top there is a racing stripe down the middle." Could you explain this in deeper detail or maybe even a picture?

Oh yeah, Tom: I'm planning on junking my old warp so I thought I'd try and frost the inside with my own sandblaster. Do I need to make it so the necks where the ball touches on the input and output ports are still smooth, or will it be fine rough?'

    Merry Christmas,
    Adam Brzycki

i am assuming that the two halves are taken apart and then the open (inner) edges are submerged partially in dye with the large, flat sections of the shell staying above the surface.

then when the pieces are removed, dried, cleaned and put together, a band of color appears in the middle of the shells when you look at the warp head on (following the seam around the shell).

granted this is just my guess, but it sounds/looks like that is what they are doing
