Crossfire is a much better tank the PE. I always see problems with PE tanks mainly leaks. I see a lot more crossfire tanks at work and it is rare that I see one with a problem.

I've had 2 pe tanks and no problems w/either of them (one being a carbon-fiber 68/45). I've heard that the threading on crossfire tanks can be weird, but they also do have a higher output (better if ur runnin a mag). My advice is go with whichever you can find a better deal on.
Peace,

Crossfire. Cant say I'd reccomend a 3a though.
Manike-It's still early days. One thing for sure is that the future is going to be interesting, and we intend to be a BIG part of it.

ive only had a crossfire, but my teammates have had ACI, PE, AGD, ect, and honestly, there isnt any real performande difference between tanks today that i can see, they all work preety well, but for the $100 i got ti for, i am ver happy with my tank

I've owned a Nitro Duck and a Pure Energy, and my teammates all have Crossfires. I honestly can't tell the difference, other than the fact that the Pure Energy is significantly lighter. PE 68/4500s can be found brand new for around $200 with a 5-year hydro, so they're definately worth a look.
I've read a lot of complaints on the Internet regarding the PEs, mostly early models at that, though I've read a lot of good things too. I think the sheer number of problems people are reporting can be attributed to the fact that there are simply more PEs out there ... I mean, every pro shop in the USA seems to be an authorized Pure Energy dealer.
FWIW, mine hasn't given me a lick of trouble since I've had it, nor has any PMI product I've ever owned in 10+ years of playing.

Crossfire
Well let's see...what do the Oakland Assassins, Effect, Avalanche, the Naughty Dogs and Brimstone Smoke all have in common? Air. They all use Crossfire and so do I. Crossfire tanks are the best. Period.

I've used both
My first two tanks were PEs and I had problems with both of them. Leaks mostly. Then I got a crossfire, no problems so far. Both my team mates started out with PEs and one of them had a problem with his as well. We all use crossfire now.
I know people who repair markers and two who run paintball proshops. They both recommend Crossfire over PEs due to their experience selling and working on them.
Hope this helps,Bryan
