Well today my field had a Stargate Sg-1 Scenario. I started off reffing, and saw some really great action. Then it started to calm down but still fun. Then it rained like crazy so we went in, Some people did noy realize that we came in even after we went out to the field and yelled to come in, the kid who stayed out said he was getting the flag. Then it stopped and it was a grat day of play.
First all the players were running mission that were aimed to make confrontation every time. There were like 18 different missions from 10 am - 8pm. The teams had to collect a bunch of items for the final battel and prizes so they were always on the look out.
Then it started to rain real hard along with thunder and Lighting, so we tell everyone to come inside. Next I had to run and yell to everybody to come in due to lightning. One person thought they were cool so they said out and blew stuff up, however it did not vount because a ref was not present to wittness it. We found him and thought he was just crazy. Then we after 20min. we decide since everybody is in we would take a group pic. So we do and then at the end of that this kid comes walking off the field in complete oblivion. We asked him what he was doing and he said he captured a flag and completed qa mission. We went back out shortly after this because the weather was letting up.
I then fell numerous times into mud and poisen Ivey. Then we played. I was still reffing and I decided that I was tired of reffing 9hours straight so I started playing and that did not last long because the final battle was coming up along with a chrono down for the night.
When we started the final battle between SG-1 and the alians it was crazy. It was between our two castles that we have and you would have to destroy thier base in order to get points. When a player was to get out they would have to go back to their base which was a castle, which wa very frustrating because I got so many people in the opposite castle out and yet they were still in due to them beibg at their base.
My team(the aliens) ended up winning because we had money to buy satchel charges to blow up their base. Everyone got a prize including all reffs and store workers. I got a jawbreakers video. Some people lucked out on prizes like this one guy got a redz pack and a Tippman Package with scott hot shot gogs. And one person was a smart bum and got a trophy of a horses bum.
All in all it was kind of crazy but yet it was really fun. Splatterzone hellped us alot with building and organization.
