Ok gun now. or better gun later..?

Ok I have a bit of a hard decision to make. I can either buy a 2k1 sto cocker w/ plamers and 91/3k tank for 380 now, or a VSC Pahntom for 150. I was thinking if I got the phantom I would save a bunch of money and be able to get a great gun around december or something. Or I can wait until christmas/hannukah time and have my parents throw in about 150-200. I just dont know what to do. Also, I think mags are great, but I like cockers more.

So AO, what should I do?

Phantom now. Playing stock helps soooooo much because you need to re-aim every shot.

Then get some sick E-Cocker and rip up the field.

Definately PHANTOM... pump class is hella fun, and like you said, it saves money. Save money and get the marker you reallly want.

I'd like to go with a phantom so I can get better. I just think I will be so outgunned and out played. Im not that good or expeirenced so thats why I'm thinking a cocker may be better. But I like your idea Ramenjames of phantom now, mag later or maybe cocker. Now I just have to think how to get out of this deal b/c its crazy. Someone else has the tank and ahhh. Thanks for your help, more input would be nice.

Or get an older cocker, with a pump kit on it, which can be done for under or around 150. Then all you need to get once you get a new gun if you want a nice cocker is a new body and pneumatics.
With only those two, I'd go for the Phantom.
