This probably wouldnt look too good.. well maybe..

have the battery mounted on top of the gun, near the valve area? maybe have the body milled to match, even with an 'ejecter' button for quick.....ejection.... of the batterys. or maybe 1 on each side, again, milled to suit..?

Its late and I'm tired, but I think the 'top' idea isnt too bad.

I like the overall idea of the 05 e-mag....... if its faaaaaast. I know some people who still would rather have a mag then a mech, even if they are same speed..

If the battery was on top, you'd have problems with hoppers like the egg and a low rise feed. but what if the rail was made a tad bit taller and have the battery inside the rail like that on a bushmaster. and just have side access to the battery, can't have rear access because of the field strip screw, mabye front access. downside is that it would make the whole gun feel taller

i really love that design. i would keep the 9 volt in the front grip and keep it the same size as u have it just exend it the grip as a whole and then have a piece that is removable so u can change the batteries easily.

i like the overall design save the selector switch. the idea that your battery will run out in the middle of the game is pretty impossible if the grip has a low battery reminder, so the only purpose of the hybrid mode is to bounce the gun like crazy, making it more of a headache than of any use to tourney players. ntm, the sear would be a lot lighter withought the trigger rod attached to it.

Very creative, though it doesn't look fesible, possible, or practicable. AGD is coming out with the hairtrigger, so it would render this as an obsolete and heavy idea. Your noid needs to be powered by something a little more powerful than a 9v, or you would have to go with a different noid, like the one in the booyaah, which is thicker and would require redesigning of the grips and gripframe. The Large size of the LED would weaken the back part of the gripframe as well as the size of the LED would take additional power. Its good your thinking, though just thought I'd let yah know b4 u put any more energy into it. Though I am not saying that you shouldn't prove me wrong

you'd need a bigger silinoid unless you use the ult kit, then you could go with a tiny noid.

Not to stamp on your parade... heres another design similar...

A hybrid photoshopped E/Xmag done by Jam and then altered a little bit more by some of us other AO'ers...

Remove the Back portion of the valve (the regulator) and fill it with an aluminum threaded cap... Then use an external mini reg (like most other markers) to regulate the velocity ect...

Shortenes the overall length and lightens the marker...
