A funny thing happened...

I was playing paintball at a local field and everyone kept staring at me, at first I was a lil wierded out, but thought not to much of it. As the day progressed, the staring continued. I finally asked another player what people were staring at, he informed me noone knew what kind of marker I was shooting, not the refs not the owner noone. I informed it was a RTP with ULE body LX etc etc. It blew everyones mind that it was not electro. Now keep in mind my RTP is a few years old, but for some reason it got more looks then some of the other more popular markers (Angel, Cockers). It feels good to be differant. Everyone wanted to shoot it and really liked it, just wanted to say thanks to Tom and Agd for making such a great marker.

thats a great story. With all the stuff you can do to mags, barely any of them look a like. I always get asked weird questions about my mag because the majority of people have never seen one like mine. With all these ULE bodies, nicad bodies, colored xvalves and such, how can anyone keep track of it. I'm beginning to think that the only thing that ties one persons mag to another is the valve

yeah at a field where there is 50% cockers the refs always want's to shoot my minimag and ask me questions about it. it's cool

Thats sort of the same thing I get with my phantom, its kinda sad even a ref didnt know how to use it... He didnt pump it, and said its broken then by the time he handed it back to me, he already broke 3 balls in it. And people always say nice pistol or sniper, doesnt any one know what a Phantom is/or looks like lol

Hey Tom just to make you feel better there were 2 guys at team practice the other day with new 03 shockers who stopped me and asked to see my mag (blue ule warp + y grip) and were totally impressed by it, they said is was so much lighter and more comfortable than the shocker, they also liked how fast you could shoot it and not worry about batteries =)
