        WARNING: Thread Jack! :)

OK, for at least a partially on-topic response, the Envy is ugly as sin. But in all the talk about the Envy over the past couple of months, I never noticed that VL had redone the Revvy with a modular hopper and renamed it the tripod.

The top half comes off and is interchangeable with 140, 200, and 300 round versions. So it looks like a very well thought competitor to the Halo TSA Frontman and Backman versions. Also, just from a performance point of view, if you break the shell, you just slap a new one on ... no more transferring the electronics between games.

I also noticed something in an online store (I can't find the link right now) called the Quantum On-Demand Kit. I don't see it on VL's Web site either. Does anyone know what this is? I'm assuming it's just an eye collar for the Quantum to interrupt the constant spin?

I'm sure it's not a true "forcefeed" in the same way that a Halo is. Those two paddles probably push balls into the feed (as apposed to just agitating) but there doesn't appear to be channeling. This wouldn't allow tention on the stack when the guns not shooting.

I dont see why Viewloader has to try out all these bizarre looks. In my opinion, Revvy's look awesome just because of their simplicity. Halos are also more traditional in their appearence.

                      Warning Thread Jack #2

We are talking about Clip based loaders and noone has mentioned the q-loader.

                      Qloader.com

Anyone running one? I ordered mine last week and it should be here by Saturday. It claims 30bps and is much better looking (and compact) than any of those strange baloon looking things you guys posed.

I have one, but I haven't gotten to put it on my gun yet. I'd definately rather have it than a viewloader though, I'm sure of that! I've had quite enough experience with that company and I don't want any part of them anymore. My advice would be to go for the HALO w/ victory board (35bps) or the Qloader (30bps+). If you're worried about balance, then definately get the Q.

the qloader is awesome. zero profile, which is more than you can say with ANY other loader, and it's a true clip-based loading system. The balls are pre-organized, and the clips click in and click out. And the 30bps rating is VERY conservative. The pod itslef, with no elbows, empties at close to 100bps.

Ahhh... third time this thread, despite two tries by trains are bad to correct this.

Fellas, a 'clip' is inserted into the 'magazine,' then the 'magazine' is inserted into the gun. Clip and magazine DO NOT mean the same thing.

The QLoader is a magazine, it's not a clip.
