I think the big issue with these was the fact that they would crack easier. I know they will also catch the battle swabs/straight shots/squeegees when you run them through.

All the barrels are stepped, so at the end, the tips, and the third part of the Switch all have an inner diameter of .700". This would lead me to beleieve that it would not cause a ball break as easily.

But, we've gotten tips at the same time we've gotten barrels, and the tips were old style. They show new style on the site, they may have been clearing inventory.

Dunno, you still may be right.

got my switch kit new on e-bay for $110 delivered, so look around for a good deal. I have had great experience with the switch. The control bore portion is only 1 inch long, however I have noticed no loss of acuracy in comparison to a freak insert kit.

During a whole day of woods ball I shot a case and a half and had a couple breaks, (really crappy field paint), but the barrel shot itself clean pretty quickly.

They are light, look hot, nearly indistructable, and have a zero co-eficient of thermal expansion. if you can find a good price, I would definately pick one up.

a kid comes up to the coarse with one alot and it is amazing. if you have a ti-83plus graphing calc for school take of the lid and it weighs somewhere around that and he smacked it on a table and it was fine. they are incredibly nice and i suggest that not only you but anyone else buys one. i think i might order my kit pretty soon.

there great. they fire darts, and weigh like nothing. i got the 4 peice stiffi swith kit on ebay for under $200 (link below). but for the money there the best thing i've bought/tryed.
