    Wave Spring instead of urethane bumper?

    Is everybody finding it necessary to keep changing these bumpers after every single game? Its not a big deal but I rather have somthing that lasts a bit longer. The poor bumper is shreded and hanging buy a thread by the time im done with the day.

    It wasent a problem before LX but now that the return force is so much greater The U-Bumpers are like a disposable item. They look like they have been put through a blender at the end of the day.

    I heard about the crazy glue trick but somthing irks me about having to crazy glue somthing to my gun. Its more of a band aid than a permanent solution.

    I wonder If AGD has considered using steel wave springs instead of the urethane bumpers?

    Why would you use steel? The bumper is meant to soften the return on the bolt. With steel it wouldn't soften it all, if you want to use steel, why use a bumper at all?

        It's a steel WAVE SPRING, not a solid steel washer.

            The glue fix worked perfect for me. I used loctite 4211, a kind of superglue, but better for plastics and rubber.

                  You cant use a wave spring because the bolt will never stop bouncing. We use the most energy absorbing material we can to deaden the recoil of the bolt. If you are having problems switch to the blue bumpers.

                          3000psi =D

                          Some guy at my local field was like "You can't put more than 400psi into an emag, that's why it isn't working you put 800" I replied "No actually my on/off o-ring wasn't lubed enough it works fine now and it's rated to 3000psi"

                          I used to think that guy was smart...
