    Inline electro? Benn made before

other than tippman, has anyone developed an inline blowback, solenoid controlled electropnuematic?

Does tippman have the patent on the inline design?

This would take care of the height some stacked tube elctros have yes?

It may be an inch or two shorter, but its about 4 inches longer. Make it shorter and people may be interested.
Hey, look at that! It's Santa!

well, i dont think so, tipmans arent really all that long. Futhermore the bolt can basicaly be the length/with of a painball if not a bit longer.

although not exctly the same thing...the emag/xmag and shocker 2003 ARE inline electropnuematics.

i always was wondering why it was taking so long for guys like icd/smart parts to put out an inline imy/bushy..

Right. but i figure the idea was to harness the potential speed of a blowback into a smaller tihnner package. The ideas is a popet valved gun, with electropnumatic controlling the ram and bolt.

            Actually, I don't believe E/X-mags are considered electro-pneumatic, as they don't use solenoid/spool valves.

Imps and Bushmasters have THREE tubes stacked ontop of eachother...

Angels and Vikings have three tubes in a triangular design.

An Intimidator uses basically the same system also, however two of the tubes are combined in the lower tube of the gun. The overall gun is a few inches longer.

SOoo, I'm guessing to combine all three tubes it would make the gun pretty long, if it is even possible to combine them that is.

              ok I'm done ranting

Might be because its easier to clean chops/barrel breaks if you can pull the bolt out and squegee the entire breech/barrel area...

well...tippman 98's break balls if i remember right...and their sales do pretty well. Stingrays broke some balls....and their sales topped any other marker... they're both inline

and while an angel IS tri-tubed, the main component of a third tube is the battery and the Viking uses the third tube as an air chamber. As for the impy/bushy, i dont think they are tri-tubed. They have two main tubes that I remember.... I dont rembmer that well...could be wrong
