Frontpage ?????

Just struck me as odd.. the frontpage hasnt been updated for atleast a year, it has no mention even of the XMag! lol, now, I love all the work being put into the forum, but dont you think the main page could be spruced up? WHat happened to the 'cool pic gallery' they were planning?

No see thats not what Im getting at. I dont necesarily WANt a cool pic gallry, I want a better AO.. So much could be added to the frontpage; ULT on a classic valve, the SP issue, electricians custom e-mag, various highlights of the forum. Make AO more appealing to people who are new to it.

i agree with you. but on the otherhand, just about everything youd want to know about mags can be found if you do enough searching on AO, and time spent on improving the web site is time detracted from new markers, like the hair trigger. although yes, it would be nice to have easy access to more current things on the front page. maybe AOers could set up a post about all that stuff, and have it stickied...

Im not trying to put anyone down, Im just calling it into attention. I agree things are fine now, but they could be better.

I wrote Jayloo.com just for this reason....I sent my pic of my emag and info in and never got an answer about it getting posted to the airgun pic gallery. I have offered my services absolutely free and no one has taken me up on it.

I could have easily made jayloo an invisible extension of AO for a photo gallery but no one was interested. I personally sponsor all the equipment and design of the Jayloo.com site. I am still open to doing any of this for AO & Airgun for nothing in return but recognition for my efforts.

I like AO and I love my mags. AO & Airgun dont seem to want to grow and change unless forced to. That is fine but change is inevitable.
