Best thing to clean Mag body

I have a minimag with the sandblast finish, it has some gunk on the body..should i use fine steel wool on it? I tried to rub it off with some gun lube but it wouldn't come off..thanks

Warm soap and water and a wash cloth. Take it in the shower with you! Some people even would put them in the dishwasher.

.... WD-40 or a mixture of 50% Alcohol and Water.

AGD, where we are so good we can do it with only ONE tube!

I alway used rubbing alchohol/water mix and a rag. Worked fine. Steel wool sounds like it might scratch.

you can use steel wool if you like, but be prepared to keep going, because you will actually start the polishing process like that. And we all know that once you start with the BLING you can't stop.
