Im thinking about getting a pump to play around with. I dont want to spend as much and a get a phantom. What should i look for around a $150 dollar range. And what should i watch out for when buying a used one.

I'd go for a ACI Hornet. It's the same thing as a ACI Macerick, but it's undercocking. The advantage is that there is less places to get paint/dirt into the internals. You can buy them new for $75. Just make sure you get the deluxe model. From what I understand, the regular model doesn't have velocity adjustment.

I own a Hornet, pretty nice marker for only $75. Make sure you get some sort of bottomline kit though, the backbottle setup gets annoying after awhile (not as comfortable + harder to use a sight)Comment
