AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
I am working on uploading all my pics onto Imagestation. It looks like it will take an hour and a half, so I will pos the link when they are done. I had to brighten a lot of them, because of how overcast the day was and the lens was at full zoom, but overall the pics came out really well. There are over 250 of them.
I just got back from work, and I'm beat, what a weekend. Mayhem and I went to sleep last night at like 8pm.
But, now it's time to take a second to do my thanks.
Clare - You get my first thank you since last time I forgot you altogther. thanks a heap for coming out from texas just to play this game with us. It was a blast having you out here, as always
Mango - Thanks for steering clear of every bar in New York that plays the music i like. I can't thank you enough for that one. Fortunately there were half naked guys in speedos dancing around to make up for it. Next time we let Kelly take us to goth bars.
Joey - For driving all the way down from Boston despite being sick for this. It was great meeting you for the first time.
Mayhem - Another long distance player. This guy left work Sat. morning and drove down from Ontario just to turn around and leave monday morning. That is some committment he has! Thanx for rolling out Canadian.
Tobe - Sorry we didn't get out faster on Friday night. It's tough coordinating this many people from so many places, especially when you add my buddy Kelly who is one slow moving girl. You were a riot all weekend.
Nick - You'll get nothing and like it Thanks for coming out chief
Dead-Eye - thanx for your genereous contribution to getting the team going and for making us all feel bad that we can't tactically tumble just like you
Govnamac - thanx for making me feel so inadequate with your cool camera that I had to go out and buy a new one first thing this morning. It arrives tomorrow, in time for me to take pics at Global on sunday
Mad Matt - It was great seeing you again. Especially nice was not having to kill anyone to get you a hat.
Jim and John - My good buddies from the area showed up and shot mags all day too. It was great having them playing with us too.
I also want to single out Govnamac and Mad Matt and thank them for showing up as alternates. It really stinks to have to set aside the day and come out for a tournament without knowing if you'll be able to play. Fortunately I'm still basically blind so we got them into a bunch of games, but I really appreciate you guys coming out with no guarantee of being able to play.
I hope everyone had a great weekend!
Or better yet, why don't you kill yourself. No, really, die. Drop dead, don't leave a note, in fact burn your house while your little ego is stuck in a bench vice so that you'll also incenerate yourslef and everything you own with it. Because that's all you're worth. You're not even wirh thte time it'll take for the house to burn down, so just kill yourself. You're a waste of space. You are nothing, you always will be nothing. Don't leave a note, you're not worth the ink. - Tyger
