Well, as many know, I broke part of my crossfire reg off in my bottle.
I took it to a teammates dad who can fix this sort of thing; well, all he had at home were easy outs and they didnt work worth a flip.
So, he takes it to his workplace and has the machine shop there drill it out. They even had to rethread the bottle. Jesus.
So, I Get it back, well, they failed to remove it. A big chunk was stuck rattling in the bottle, to big to be removed. So me and cody put needle nose pliars in there, and slowly break it apart letting it come out. So we do that, then we have to run air through it for half an hour to get all the metal shavings out.
So; Im FINALLY happy, I have a bottle for my conquest. I install the conquest, take it to the field, he looks at it, and says it should be fine to fill. Yay!
Well, he fills it, and its working fine, then out of nowhere, BAM, BOOM, the damn guage blew apart.
Useless conquest; and a haggard bottle.
I will be sending it ALL to mac dev to have them throw a new guage on and PROPERLY install and review the bottle to make sure its safe. I will be waiting a while, but sometimes you get that. Back to my stupid PMI 68/45 screw in.
