          Tippmanns rock.

I wonder what is in store for our industry since so many of the more prominant companies are selling out to other companies outside the industry...

I wouldn't be too worried. Non-paintball companies buying into paintball is probably a good thing. They have recognized paintball as a good investment, and are not likely to do anything drastically different from what has worked so far.

Maybe someone at Tippmann realized all thoose rentals they sold in the last 10 years will never need to be replaced so they expect sales to go down... LOL

But Hey ... Tippmann's help make our sport what it is today ... everyone deserves to get a little cash for their years of hard work and look at retiring or stepping back .... just as long as Tom doesn't go getting any ideas on us ...

At Summit Partners we provide capital and resources to power the growth of category-leading companies as a growth-focused private equity investor.

It's just a venture capital firm. Probably another group of rish schmucks who found out how fast paintball was growing and wanted a cut of the action.

Rich is an understatement. They own Installshield and McAfee. I think they are trying to get VeriSign too.

What? You mean like big tractors planting seeds?

                      I know, you meant sewing.

Or, maybe Tippmann is going to do another run of table top .22 cal. gatling guns.

If they made .22 cal. gatling guns, i would buy one. Possibly two.
