    Best tank for reactivity

Which tank would be the best for reactivity? I would like to make my rtmag autofire. I know it's bad but I want like to see what's it's like for the marker to go full blast... ^_^

I'm looking at dynaflow and max flow.

    Thanks.

any adjustable tank with good recharge should do well. be it maxflo, dynoflow, flatline, anything that is adjustable.

hell, i have a 114ci adjustable tank for sale if you want it.

With the adjustables you are looking at either high performance in air flow (recharge) or consistiency (level of dropoff in PSI shot to shot) or a combination of the two.

For a mech mag you can rule out a Mac Dev Conquest, they only go up to ~600 PSI. You want an adjustable to go up to 1000 PSI. From the random submissions of sweetspotting mags on full auto, it looks like Max Flo and Air America Apocolypse are the easiest to achieve full auto and sustained. Don't remember the cases for Dynaflow, I have one myself, just haven't tried it on a mech. Most other adjustables will choke out after a string or so it appears. You can get full auto, just not as easy or as long.

If your against SP, get the Dynaflow or an Apocalypse2k2. They both have good customer service. The Apoc would be a good deal used but would be a tad heavier with more stainless steel in the reg, but very durable. The new 2004 Dynaflows are real nice, as light as they come and the integrated dovetail mount can be replaced without rebuilding the whole reg. If you can find a new Apocalypse Abaddon(sp?) that would be sweet too.

I just got a 72/45 Pure Energy tank, and put it on Load SM5s ULT RTPro. I don't know what he had his flatline at, but this was goin FA sooo easy. It was awesome.

Crap.... I've got a PE tank and want to get a ULE RT Pro with ULT kit. I don't want it to go full auto really ever, because I like to keep my guns legal.

This really going to be a problem?

I meant it was just REALLY easy to sweetspot. It was fun. It would still be legal. But each gun setup is different, so yours may not react as nice as his did.

in my semi-extensive experience, flatlines do not provide much reactivity at all. you be better off with either a solid preset or another adjustable. i would recommend a max-flo, as it is hands down the most reactive tank i have ever seen/used.

flatlines CAN do it i thing anything preset or adj over 800 psi should provide more than enough reactivity but if ur doing it for fun then w/e can give u the most psi is what u want UP TO 3k

No. You can tune it out, and with the ULT reactivity is greatly reduced.

From my experience, the Flatline won't do it as well as the other tanks mentioned. From firsthand experience, I can set a flatline to the same output pressure as an AA tank and the AA tanks (rapter, APOC and Geddon) allowed me to sweetspot much easier. You can use Z-man's recommendation for tanks as well. Otherwise don't listen to anyone that says what tank SHOULD work. They all should, they just don't.

Yeah I hear a lot of how you can make any tank give you a rapid-fire worthy setup but I tend to see that the people who get their preset systems rapid-fire, have either messed with their on/off pin or added 5 too many shims to their ULT.

If you want rapid-fire that you can dial in and out to your preference then you need to go with an adjustable 4500psi system. Most of the good ones have been listed. The Max-Flo's the Air America systems, the Dynaflow, all good tanks and all rather pricy. Such is life.

And here is my series of pages on rapid-fire if you have not seen them

or you can do like madmen do, and hook a scube tank directly to your mag
