AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Sanchez or Kaner. Rifling does nothing. And for christ sake compare the cost.
haha yeah, didn't AGD do extensive testing and found that rifling offered no added benefit anyway. btw he's talking about the Hammerhead barrel system. Now, in terms of barrel types. it doesn't really matter any kit you get. All the kits are generally the same, they're all top of the line barrels, and all do their jobs extremely well. w/ a barrel system, the majority of your accuracy will depend on how consistent your valve is. Again, by anything. even Smart Parts
Do what I did. Go down to a shop that has a range and ask to try them out side by side. After a Hammerhead, Empire, Freak, Phat, Ultralight, Evil Pipe and Stiffi, I ended up with a Kaner.
cphilip - ...And again I am not allowing anyone to use the "well everyone else does it and gets away with it" excuse. Get used to it. Life aint always fair and this ain't no democracy.
I own an Empire 7 piece kit and I've shot a Scepter, Freak and an Ultralight. To me they all shot the same. I prefer non insert kits though(for durability reasons) and I got a good deal on the Empire so I got it.
After testing Freak, J&J, Kaner, Sceptre, Evil, Empire, Hammerhead. I Picked the Hammerhead. Hands down the best barrel I ever shot in 18 years. Even if the rifiling does "nothing" according to some. Its the best barrel I have ever put on my autococker.
