any one watch the action hero reality show

so i was watching this show last night on NBC....pretty much they are taking people and turning them into action stars....well one of their screen tests was a live action shot with all kinds of crap happening....fire balls and crap explodeing....as i was watching this one of the stunt guys had a paintball gun in his hand.....from what i could tell was was an old school mag with a crown point barrel on it. they were shooting what they called 'dust balls'. he shot them at the ground and when they broke little clouds of dust came up to give the effect of gun shots hitting the ground...thought it was pretty cool. so did any one else see the show? was it really a mag? does anyone know what those 'dust balls' were made of....found it kind of cool
ThunderStruck Scenario Team- Yep...it's new hotness in every box!!

I din't get a good look at it, but it appeared to be a PFHL standard finish .68 Automag with a revvie. I dont know if it's what you'd call 'old school', but I'm pretty sure it was an Automag.

BTW, the show is called "The Next Action Star", and it looks like it's going to be pretty good so far.

*edit* I would guess the 'dust balls' were standard paintball shells, filled with dust or some kind of powder instead of paint. It would have to be something similar to that, otherwise you wouldn't be able to shoot it out of a paintball marker without modification.

I'm wondering how Smart Parts "low pressure" design leads to 'less welting of players', as they claim If it's fired at 300 fps, it doesn't matter what pressure was used to fire it, it's still going to make the same kind of welt.
