How long is your Ummmm..... hose?

For you folks I've seen running your stainless hoses around the back of the gripframe (mostly on E-mags) How long does the line need to be for this to be comfortable?

    Thanks,

    Ruiz A. (Three) Wheeler

I have either a 16" or 20" hose. I forget which, I can try to measure when I get home but one of those two lengths.

I have a 20" hose right now, but I'm going to be getting a 12" soon.

Oh, come on. Everybody knows it doesn't matter how long the hose is...it's how you use it.

Well, and the width, but that's another discussion.

18" SS on my Xmag, although it would have to depend on the lenth of the drop/no drop you have. You obviously wouldnt need a long hose for a raildrop, unlike a huge psychoballistocs drop, that would prolly need 3 feet

Thanks all. That mostly answers my question. More pics would be appreciated.

CP Micro drop (almost no drop) and a 12 inch hose (I'm only half black, awww yeah ).

If you go to Home Depot, you will prolly be able to find 12 inch grease gun hose. It takes standard paintball fittings (1/4 inch NPT, or was it 1/8 inch NPT?), and it's rated to 3000psi hyrdaulic pressure. That means the burst pressure is 12000 psi. I've been told that in terms of pneumatic pressure (ie air pressure), it works out to one half hydraulic pressure (so 1500 psi with a 6000 psi burst). In other words, plenty for your Mag with a lot of room to spare.

That, and it's usually less than $5. And, it won't scratch anything (like your marker). Great find. And just think, you'll have a little bit of "old school" on your new school marker.
