aparently father's day isnt a "paintball" holiday

so aparently no one takes their father to play on father's day...WTF. i went out to play today but no fields were open. that really upset me. anyone get to play today? b/c i am jealous. me 'n barberjohn went to play in sparkle city but to no avail all we ended up doing was drive for an hour...it was rull upsetting.

Adventure Games Paintball in Wear, NH has bring your Father and he plays for FREE, rents equipment for FREE, and receives 100 free paintballs. And they do this every year.

I guess the fields in your area just need to get their act together?

I am not playing today though. I am spending all day in the shop (except to eat and run out to my in-laws real quick).

I planned to take my dad out to his first day of paintball and they were closed, too.

I brought my dad to play one year, he didn't feel up to it that day, so I played and he watched, all the while cheering me on. I have wanted to take my dad to play for a while since then but his health isn't great, so it prolly isn't likely that I will ever get him to play, which is cool.... I'm more than happy to have him come out and watch and cheer(everyone love a cheering section )

The field I reff at are open today and have a father son discount. I can not attend though becasue it is daddys day and my dad wanted food.

It's probably because most of the fields around here are run by guys who do it in addition to having full-time jobs - so I'm guessing they took the time off to spend with their family.

My daughter took me out paintballing today.
It was a special "old-school" reunion with guys from Tactical Assault Command and the Paintball Marshals playing stock-class at Strategy Plus.

My field was open today, and I went, but not with my dad.

We played. Nineteen from my club (4 Dads with 4 kids 10-14), and eight renters. All the CanCon guys were playing pump, while the renters and most of the kids had semis. We got in about a dozen games, and had a BBQ lunch.

But that was the only business for the two fields PaintStorm has in our area.
