    As for powdercoating, it is a baked on enamel finish and is very durable. Much more so than paint.

      Powdercoating will actualy last longer than Ano. It will not rub off and is also very difficult to scratch.

        Can u color match as well as anno?

        Can anyone reccomend someone to powdercoat just the heads of 3 field strip screws red?

          Powder coating majorly throws off tolerences though.

            Have them tape off just the heads and you could do it... The tolerances are the shaft and the threads. So don't coat those.

            And its a Plastic Coating is what it is...


            AGD, where we are so good we can do it with only ONE tube!

              Eastwood Co. used to carry anodize spray paint that, from what I've heard, worked pretty well.
              The only problem I see with powdercoating the field strip screw is that the powder will fill some of the knurling causing a smoother, slippery surface to grip.

                  Yes, but it works differently than Al. You set the color with the voltage you use. You can't do fades and the such since you don't dye the color in.

                    so lets say if i wanted to get my marker annoed blue, the color of blue would be lighter or darker just depending on what voltage is used, cool.
