Coiled Remote 3000psi?

Are coiled remotes labeled 3000 psi WP really able to handle 3000 psi sustained pressure?

I am only using the hose section with the swaged fittings that come with it. I will not be using the stock QD or on/off.

if it says "3000 psi wp" wp = working pressure so yes, otherwise its max pressure and it would probibly blow out under sustained 3000psi

I know this from experience.

The hose can withstand the high pressure. I've run one at about 2500 PSI.

But the fitting blew out from the hose. It could have just been a weak crimp tho.

Depends on the hose.I've definatly seen failure on those rated @3k that I know never saw 3K. I've just recently had a 'JAVA' remote rated at 3000WP come back with a burst after one day of play @ 800psi of HPA.Possibly a fluke but who knows.There's only one coil line I trust,it was rated at over 12K with out failure but you can't get them anymore. 'Millenium', the size of a phone cord,good flow and nearly indestructable at any feasable pressure. Cool stuff indeed.

Why would you be running 3000psi through it? Remotes are designed to go from a tank to your gun so there shouldn't be any more than 800-1000psi going through it. I understand that your tank reg might fail but then you realy shouldn't keep playing with the set-up up till you fix it.
