    PGP Or Mag

When i say mag i do not mean sydarm btw

So my question is, should i buy a pgp and get it chrome plated and put a spring plunger thin in the clip or get a classicmag body and make it into a pistol type thing wiht a very short barrel, single trigger frame and stuff

Depends on what you want, and how much you are willing to spend. The PGP will be cheaper, obviously.

The PGP will still be 12gr pump, and the modified Mag will be a C/A semi-auto (4oz tanks, I presume).

yeah, i just wanted somethin to play around with in the backyard, i was thinkin of getting a pgp and gettin it chrome plated and putting a spring plunger in the clip so it wouldnt take forever fro the balles to feed in

      can brass be anoed?

also, if i could find a way tro do it someone could turn the pgp into a microstroker (like on docs site)

Personally, I'd say go with the PGP, but skip the spring feed. The action of pumping the gun is plenty to feed the balls even on a near empty tube. By adding a spring feed, you reduce the capacity to 7-8 shots and it'll take even longer than usual to reload.

Actually, a classic mag will run on 12g's and get about 15 shots or so if you don't rapid-fire. How long the o-rings will last doing so is a good question, tho.

pretty sure that the sydarm uses alittle different valve system. question is how WELL does a mag run on 12's?

To get a PGP done RIGHT (not a hack job) to a spring fed monster, its $450...
Hey Zero, how much did that Chipley cost ya?

I've run my mag on a 12g adapter. I screwed the adapter in on my vertical adapter and and it worked very well, I got 25+ shots off of it. Keep in mind that my mag is a Smartmag and is even less efficient than average.

the only thing is, i used to have a newer version pgp (pos) and when i pumped id hafta wait forever for the ball to get in there, but with a spring feed it would be pushed right in

right now theres a sydarm on ebay, but its starting price is 300 so i think when im done my mag ill just get a pgp and use it in the backyard to sneak around i kno alot of guns cant run on c02 and some are picky with it, but are pgp's like tippmanns when it comes to co2? if they are pgp's rock

I have a 2001 model PGP as well and with a little practice the pump stroke feels natural. It really doesn't take long to pump at all, it's easy motion. All that a spring fed load system does is eliminate the need to rock while you're cocking, but the rock comes with the cock if you understand what I'm saying.

alright, i have decided that i want to trade my minimag body for a classic mag body, and then put all my old parts on the classic mag nd stuff so it ends up being really small like a pistol, then ill get a 90* warp elbow somewhere and stick 10 round tubes in it
