Not really. The CnC X-Mag, the Alias, the Shocker all have simple and gracefull lines. The Shocktech DM$ is way too busy for my taste. I also don't lie the Species timmy or the new ICD marker for the same reason.Originally posted by shivorsToo funny...the same people who drool over a carved up X-Mag bash a carved up DM4.
AO is on it's way to PBN.
But I guess since I am on AO, I must be a mindless drone who thinks all other markers suck.

what are you smoking? There's this concept called asthetics if you didn't know of it already. Usually the most asthetically pleasing designs are fairly simple and elegant. Usually when designs get overcrowded (DM4, dynasty shocker, species timmy, shocktech dm4, etc), people (with good sense) tend to see them as ugly. It's just that the paintball culture these days consists of a whole bunch of lemmings, hype kids. So once someone (usually the manufacturer) says, "OMG WTF AGG AGG AGG MUPPET MOWER OMG BBQ!!!"... all the "agg" players follow suit and buy, endorse, and support the new, ugly, yet still ultra agg marker.Originally posted by shivorsToo funny...the same people who drool over a carved up X-Mag bash a carved up DM4.

The DM4 is one of those lemming fad markers. I've seen better designs come from DeadlyWind, Simon, AIM, and more. It's not the fact that it's a carved up marker that makes people drool. It's usually the fact that it looks cool that causes drooling. Bandwagoning may also cause faux "drooling", which is just for the sake of impressing peers.
I say that the c&c xmag looks better than the shocktech DM4 and I bet a lot of people agree with me. The Shocktech SFL Emag looks way better than their dm4. That DM4 has too many ridges, there's that huge flat open spot near the lpr, the round bulges look out of place with the flowing lines up top, the lines up top are too straight and don't achieve much of an effect besides adding edges, and the front still looks bad. (I do say that this is an improvement over the stock DM4 but only because of the feedneck) There are too many bad parts in this design, it's kinda like the rhythm cocker from freeflow, but worse...

Good Traders:
Tunaman, K-villeplayer, Magman007, Mastersconi, Jon/xpm, Kenndogg
My feedback if you've dealt with me, leave some...
Fruitcat: it's what AO doesn't like.

My teammate bought one of these at chicago open for 1500. Definitely not the best looking marker ever, but it isn't bad by any means imo. I do have to say 1 thing, this is definitely the best feeling gun I've ever held. With a halo, cp rail and on off, 68/45 pe tank with dye tank cover, it felt perfect.Comment

Good waste of time that was... its a little thing called "opinnion." In my "opinnion" the dm4 is awesome looking.Originally posted by FooTempswhat are you smoking? ... Ok not that hard but here we go...(sry if sum1 already answered this im to lazy to look) Shocktech just customizes it. They take a dm4 and change things here and there in this case it appears just the body.Originally posted by DarkSunUh, isnt Dm4 Dye Matrix 04? Are thy shey one and the same? I didnt realize DM4 was made by shocktech, please explain.
Manike-It's still early days. One thing for sure is that the future is going to be interesting, and we intend to be a BIG part of it.Comment
