timmy help needed

so i was meesing around at this paintball field yesterday, and jumped off this little incline and hit the wal and my halo broke off, or so i thought, the hole feedneck broke off. but luckily it didnt break the threads but it took the part off the timmy, kind of hard to explain with out pics, but anyways, do yall think bob long would fix it?

I did that to mine, it's on it's way to BLAST to be fixed as we speak/type.

yep thats exactly what it was, it just looks like they used some sort of adhesive to put it on there. but it didnt look like they used hardly any

how much is that costing you?

I thot it was JB weld, but I'm not sure. I'm not sure on the price yet either, I haven't recieved the good news yet. I'm also having them swap out the ram sleeve and do a few other things, I'll know in a few days.

Happened to a teammates timmy last tourny, got a tech to do it for us overnight .

If it's a press fit neck, most people just JB weld them back in in themselves.

No sir it is not..its very uncommon, but it happens. Only the brand spanking new Timmys are truly "threaded" from the ground up, others just have a feedneck slammed in there with threads on top. Either JB it yourself, or if ya feel uncomfortable send it to Blast, they are very leniant on many things such as that.

Little update for ya el pimpo, just got a call from BLAST, they didn't charge me at all for the feedneck. So that answers your question. Pretty cool.

Ah well, and just FYI, they just took out the old one and press fit a new one, so it'll be nice and pretty.

New sofware and a the flat trigger too. Can't wait to get it back.

hey guys, i also have a timmy question..i just bought a alias off of a guy at the local field. and he told me that i cant use teflon tape on it or it viods the warrenty. what would i use then?
