"Smear" Annodizing...?

I need help on a question. When did the "Smear" annodizing appear on the RTs and what was the number of units per year ratio for these specific markers? I've been offered one and would like to find out a little more info on them.

I honestly don't know if any RT was ever sold as a smear. I have only seen the few kits that AGD put up for sale a couple years back. I think there were like 10 kits then of different colors. I have a Purple.

The store I worked at sold a couple red smear RTs... I cant remember the year tho.

The smear I'm being offered is a red smear. The owner of the store I work for in WI is offering it in trade for my Impulse. I'm heavily tempted, as I'd like something unique to have on the field.

they sold a select few RT's that came from the factory with the smear kits on them

Call AGD and ask them. One of the techs should be able to tell you in short order.
