I don't have an Omen but I think they are good guns for the price. I think those who don't like them either, didn't follow the instructions and screwed it up, have never owned one but listen to the dumb people's opinions, or got a fluke one that didn't work correctly. When they first came out they had a good amount of problems, those problems are pretty much fixed now. If you wait for the new stuff to come out the Omen will rip and have pretty much zero problems. Just my .02

I love Cockers, but I suck at shooting mechs fast. If you can handle a mech I would recommend a Cocker, if not go with the Omen. Of course you can get a Cocker and save up for an E-blade or Race frame too.

Having played a little with an omen and a bunch with cockers in my experience both guns worked good when handled correctly. But myself I gave up both to go back to an Automag Ule rt which is just my personal preference. Solid easy maintenance & none of those wierd little things that seem to happen while running a cocker.

well an e-blade is 325 now, a new 03 is 250$so that 5754 to make it shoot fast like an omen. an omens what 450 new and it rips new. the thing is this is a decision for a first tournie gun. so im not sure. a cocker cant shoot fast, well as fast as electros but thery are mechanical and fair priced. i also kinda want a mech because sometimes we play in the rain, and i wouldnt want to short circuit. anymore thoughts and suggestions appreciated.

but i would wait a bit,,they are going to be releasing a bunch of new upgrades for he omen!one of he upgrads is supose to be a new cam feed that allows you to use a halo on it,,also the board is supose to be changed to the same type of board that is in the evil pimp and that is an uncapped board.
i am getting an omen but i am waiting till the new upgrades come out,,supose to be in 1-2 months.

actually the new board will be written by Chris @ PDP... Based on the PDP chip but better, i assume. the limitation of the pdp chip was due to the solinoid.. the new board will come to a new solinoid, which means it will be able to cycle faster.

they're looking at a sept release time for the new cam arms/flush cocking/board.

You dont need a gun for the rain. I just put a bag over the back half of my angel 4. It may look like crap, but im not taking any chances with my baby!

thats too much of a chance. if i had that nice of a gun i wouldnt use it if it was misting. besides my erad kicks.
