AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
I have personally heard AGD Pride's X-mags and they are really really fast. I currently own an X-mag (which i love), but what i want to know is if they use a special board or if they use the 3.2, 4.0, or something else. Peace out

As I understand they use software version 4.01. It is indeed a bit faster than 3.2 but was not released for the general public as certain markers suffered from full auto issues. The speed increase is most noticable in hybrid mode as the ROF has been raised to 26bps from 20.
As far as i know, they use 3.2. Some might have 4.01, but that doesn't make things any faster, it just makes them have nifty gadgets. 3.2 and 4.01 both are just buffering boards, no cheater board or anything.
No, we both agree that there is a chance that they are using 4.01. We do some what disagree that 4.01 is faster or not. Miscue says it's the same, but written different and tighter, there for more room to do the nifty things.
hey Z in your sig you have written down 4.01 do you have it? or do you just like to advertise it? and if you have it do you prefer to shoot in hybrid or electronic?? Just a thought

I have it. I like hybrid mode as it.. well it tends to "help" you more than E-mode. however there is no way that it is tourney legal so I should say, I prefer it when I can
Some of the Pride guys (if not all) upgraded to 4.01 @ the Chicago Open a few weeks ago. They don't use any special sort of boards at all. They've tested beta versions of software over the years of course. Other times they've used the current software release.
"someone" I know has 4.0 and I have 3.2. Hers...ahem...er, I mean their's is faster than mine. I can tell shooting them side by side. The triggers could be set differently, but seeing as I did the trigger jobs, not likely.
So, one more opinion to throw in the mix...
Also, the Pride guys have the custom triggers which could increase the bps a little.
The gun is 1/8" of a game that is a FOOT long!

they don't have any custom triggers, all i know is that one of the AGD tech's has a 1 of 1 techna trigger for his e-mag
and pride and kids just use the stock trigger, or possibly a TL63, fireblade, or LT3 blade
plus basically they've had quite a few eyars of experience, which i think helps their fingers move a bit faster, as their fingers have adapted to their triggers
Nah my copy of 4.01 runs great. Not unless I set the sear to be *just* touching the trigger in E-mode (thus causing a mini bounce effect like hybrid).
Hybrid mode can full auto because of thenature of hybrid mode but I do not have the issue of firing the marker in either mode and having it take off in an uncontrolable full auto string.
Most of the guys used 3.2 while we played in chicago. Many of them also had their guns upgraded to 4.01 after the event. They didnt want to try and play the event with a new software that they were not familiar with.
Edit: No there are not any super secret triggers either.
