    That's Right!

You know, as is so often the case in life, the Knight of NI is right. We WILL in fact have a show starting in October, on Spike TV, for 13 episodes. So um...yeah. Watch it. And stuff.

          Agreed, if they understand it.

I explained x-ball to my younger brother(who is not a paintballer) and he doesn't mind watching. People that don't understand it won't like it of course, that goes for any sport. How many people do you know that watch football(or any sport) that don't undertsand the rules? Once people understand paintball I think it will be watched more on tv.

I know OLN showed a show a couple of times based around a scenerio type paintball game. They had a team fighting against an evil group while trying to capture different objectives like computer disks and such. This might be more appealing to the general public at this moment. I think that we have to take small steps to educate the public about paintball on tv and not just throw them right into a game.

There isnt alot of stuff a non-paintball player can understand(im pretty sure my dad isnt going to go 'oh man CHECK OUT THE ANGLE HE HAS ON HIM!').
I can say that about any sport really, not a fair comparison. I've seen plenty of baseball games, nothing crazy or special happens in them that I haven't seen before, same with football, and everyother spot.

Look at all the sports on TV - they all have spectators. The energy of the live audience is transmitted to the TV audience along with the games themselves. The roar of the crowd gets and keeps people watching.

I never thought about that. The crowd is a big part, the cameras always show the crowd from time to time.

Woodsball is boring to watch, why?

!. Huge field require mulitple camera men, which give away positions of players
                          2. Watching some guys walk around in a forest for 10 min looking for someone isnt fun to watch.
                          3. Camoflauge does nothing for people figures, and sex sells.
                          4. All the build up for a couple quick shots is anti climactic , i wanna see a firefight
                          5. Tippmans are ugly

Xball is boring to watch, why?
                          1. All that shooting to hit one person gets old.
                          2. Gets done way too quick
                          3. Tourney clothes dont show off your figure

I hate watching sports, I'd rather play them.

There needs to be like a respawn time so that the action continues for a while. The games are so short but the action is there. They should get some better camera angles like from above. Football started that a little while ago and it seems like your in first person.

If you play ANY sport, you are bound to find it interesting so you would watch it on tv. i dont see how people "love" paintball but cannot watch it on tv. well anyway, rugby is a violent sport that airs on TV sometimes..... but it is not popular, and it is hard to follow. SAME THING AS PAINTBALL. I am all for paintball on TV but it will never go on tv long unless the sport grows and when it is on tv you watch it. I get kicks out of a 5 minute part of a show that includes paintball. (junkyard wars, the Osbornes, Roud rules/real world challenge, the simpsons, king of the hill, even ***** eye for the Straight guy), and i hope you do too!
