barrel kits

I am leaning towards getting the evil pipe barrel kit. It looks good with my x-mag and it gets good reviews. Please tell me if you would recommend me getting a different barrel kit. I would like to know if this is a good choice. thanks Paintballer7_7_7

And you don't need a new kit if you ever get a new gun that doesn't have the same barrel threading.

I've been shooting the Evil Pipe for about 6 months and I like it quite a lot. In the past I've shot the Freak and Kaner and the Pipe is on par with those kits, without question.

Of course if doesn't offer as many bores as the Freak, but you really don't need more than 4 anyway. Also, the container the Pipe comes with is big and bulky and not practical as a case, so you'll probably want to get a barrel bag.

All that said, IMO, you can't go wrong with the Pipe. Plus it looks sweet.

i have to agree with nick on the scepter. it is an amazing barrel. I reccomend it over any other barrel kit, as its made with the utmost quality.

I would suggest the scepter as well, I am borrowing my friends and it is so awsome.

Well I have heard the Pipe is a good kit but I don't know from personal experience. If you look at others though, I would recommend the Empire, I have one and it's awesome.

Scepter, for the aforementioned reasons.

Pipe is good though... but the Scepter gets the nod from me

Noone has mentioned the J&J Edge kit yet. I quite like mine so far. I was going to go either Scepter (but didn't want to mess with inserts) or Pipe (heard some stories about broken tips). While it may not be quite as pretty as a Pipe, nor as high-end as a Scepter, you can probably pick one up for less than either of those, and I haven't any complaints about mine so far.

empire 4 piece. heres why: its well made, the backs and fronts line up well.
The bore sizes are rediculous. who needs a .682 bore? no one. Considering most people use just one barrel no matter what the bore size, the range is about right.
price is really good too. Our shop sells the 4 piece for 100 bucks, or the price of a dye ultralight.

Also look into the Equation set, It's by far the best I've used!! And I have used a few diferrent ones!! The Freak was unimpressive, CP isn't bad, I haven't shot the Evil yet, but based on what I've heard seems to be good!! Hope this helps!!!
