    AGD Custom ULE RT

    anyone know why AGD is taking so long to get parts in for the custom RT's? they keep backordering parts to a certain date and when it reaches that date they make up another date to back it up to... i bought mine at the start of summer, and now the airgun website says the last part i need to complete the mag wont be in till August 1. ive been as patient as i can be, its just getting frustrating not having a gun all summer. im hoping i get free 3-day shipping or something to make up for the wait

    im not trying to bash AGD, i just want my gun!

      Well, they don't make the parts in house. They come in from outside vendors. If the vendors get backed up or something doesn't pass Quality Control, then that delays the process.

      Same goes for anodizing. Sometimes it can ruin a part or just come out wrong, and it won't pass QC.

          What all did you order. Because I just ordered mine a week ago(Tuesday:Black ULE, Black X-Valve,No I-frame (already have one) and just got it yesterday and that with the standard shipping. The only complaint I have about it is that one of the screws that holds the sightrail on came stripped from the factory so I can't get the sightrail off.

              Mine was stripped too (well, it was my own fault). Get a dremel w/ a thin cutting wheel and cut a notch in the screw so you can use a standard screw driver to take it out. Worked like a charm!

                  wow. thats really kind of scarey. I got mine from Chicago PSP, in the same config, and one of the screws was stripped, but I got the site rail off without any marks. I guess no other smiley applies other than

                      Most of the longer backorders are because of the colored valves. We can never correctly judge demand for them and when we get caught short you have to wait a whole manufacturing cycle. Actually I am sorry we even opened that can of worms.

                      Colored valves just came in today.

                          my mag had : Black ULE WL body, Black Xvalve, Black Y-grip, ULT, no barrel.

                          im not sure if they might have been further backordered because the parts that came in were used up on all the mags waiting for them, then put on backorder again..its a possibility. But according to the website, its the Black WL body and Black Y-grip thats keeping me from getting my gun...
