AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
If you're cheap, then use the right product. The charger is $80 and the battery is around $60. Is it worth messing up that much $ in equipment for a $20 charger?
That charger should work as the Emag charger is a 12v 1500ma charger. Howerver it will be much slower to charge and if it is a cheap transformer it may get hotter than normal.
You need to check the polarity of the plug thought. There should be a
(+)-----( @----(-) looking deal on the charger that tells you if the inside of the plug is negative polarity or positive. I dont' have have one to check so mabey someone else with an emag charger can post which way it is on the original charger.
of course to be safe you should get a multimeter and check the ACDC adapter to make sure it puts out what it says it does (could be broken) and to be ultra safe you should just buy the one that is sold with it. That sounds like a lot of cash for a ACDC adapter though.
