I agree...as much as I wouldn't mind winning...I'd rather have that number jump so my experience at the event will be even more. Is registering through that website the only way you can sign up? I mean, there's gotta be more than 200 signed up right? Especially since Sept is coming quickly!

Doesn't look like it at this point. When I signed 2 of us up about a week ago, we were #'s 71 & 72 on the confirmation e-mail.
