Eclipse splash rail mag barrel pin thingy??

Okay, so I have an eclipse splash kit on my current mag. I plan on ordering an RT ULE custom and sticking the splash kit on there...and then putting the extraneous RT ULE parts on my old mag. My question is...since the ULE body accepts autococker barrels instead of mag barrels, will I have to take this little pin thing out of my eclipse splash rail? If so, is there any other way to do that than to hammer the thing to oblivion until it flies out of the rail? I've already done that once in my lifetime, and it wasn't pretty...

squeeze it out with a vice and towls so it dosent get scratched

They come out pretty easy, just put the rail in a soft-jaw vice(or use a rag in a normal one) and tap it with a hammer. Mine popped right out.
