actually, i would ditch it for a nyx trix, but thats me. the shocker is sub par compared to the trix. the trix is just made better

When the trix first came out it had way more problems then the new shocker did. Sub par? Prove it bill

Shocker is lighter, not as tall, shorter, just as fast, a little less on efficiency....

How would you save money? A vision Shocker is like $825 and the Freestyles are $850. WOW, $25. ICD makes a better quality gun. The FS's don't have quality control issues like Shockers. Plus, FS's have break beam instead of reflective eyes. Also, the FS has a way better trigger imo. Oh yeah, and of course, you aren't feeding a money whoring monster when you buy ICD products. Those are just some things off of the top of my head. I'm not even a SP hater, but if you think the Shocker is a better quality gun(or better in any way except MAYBE looks) you are crazy or you've never shot a FS or both.

Between this, my hk angel, my 2 timmys I guess I see differences, but all of them were consistent, shot ropes, and were great guns. I guess most people just love bashing smart parts guns in general because of the whole patent thing. Oh well, bash all you want, it isn't going to stop smart parts anytime soon. Boycott them too, won't mean anything to a company of their size and the small size of members on a forum that won't buy their stuff.

They are $850 here. What I don't like about the Shocker is 50% of them have problems(at least around here) and there triggers suck imo. And I said I wasn't anti Smart Parts. Boycotting them won't do a dang thing because most people don't give a crap. If they wanna sue companies let them, it's like business everywhere else. Also the FS is easier to take apart and stuff which helps in the maintenance area. Overall the FS is more reliable from a QC standpoint and is easier for me to shoot fast. Also, I think the newer FS's look real nice.

Either way the Viking owns both.

Yeah shockers are hard to take apart I just took mine apart today without a manual or anything, simple as a piece of cake. Just unscrew that bolt guide from the gun, push the bolt out, then get a rod or something and push out the firing chamber. Whole bolt is out. Take off the grips, unplug the battery, disconnect the wiring harness, push the 2 pins that hold the board in, comes right out, and if you want to take apart the solenoid, remove the 2 screws that hold it on, *gasp* I just broke a sweat. Shockers are quite possibly the simpliest guns on the market, if something goes wrong on them its either incorrect dwell/recharge setting, a bad oring, and umm thats about it. The first run of shockers pre serial number 1000 were horrible, broke paint, leaked and were just terrible. Smart parts has fixxed all the bugs and offered all owners of shockers serial number 3900 down a new bolt and new on off switch that are much better.
