Looking at getting a new gun to try soon, suggestions?

Well, I want to get a new gun to try soon, my E-Mag and RT Pro are just too similar and I want to try something new, so the RT has to go in favor of something different. I know i'm probably gonna have to drop another $200-300 to get what I really want (RT is probably work $450, $500 if I can sell it locally [doubtful]). Probably will have between $600-750 to spend. Here's what i've been considering:
AKA Viking (I would love to get one of these just for the efficiency and low maintinence)
Timmy (probably looking at a Z/2k2/ECX, which would be best?)
    LCD Matrix

Other than that, what else would there be to consider? I know Shockers are in that price range, but I HATE those guns.

The Viking is my dream marker, but is it realistic to get one for $750 or less? I know maintinence is pretty much oil in the ASA, but how complicated is the marker to take apart/adjust settings?

A Timmy is my second choice, but how complicated are the guns? Reliable? Easy to maintain? Any certain advantages between a Z/2k2/ECX model?

Matrices, i've always liked these guns, but they seem to get pretty expensive when it comes to models with eyes, how fast are the eyeless ones (chop a lot?)? Are these guns as complicated/ pain to maintain as i've heard?

    Thanks!!

To answer one of your questions, most Timmys (other than the new '04 types) are the same just with diferent milling and boards. What I mean is that a classic Timmy with an Entropy of Frenzy board will shoot just as fast as a Dragon Timmy etc.

I guess the new style Timmys have a shorter throw so theoreticly they could have a faster CPS.

Go for the matrix for sure. Its the best gun i have owned and shot personally, they just feel awesome. My trix is a gen-e 2k3 led with tmc eyes and a bunch of other stuff. When i didnt have eyes on it, it didnt chop, to this date it hasnt chopped. Its all about getting a bolt kit that works well and setting it all right. As long as you have your bolt pressure low enough then your fine, a halo helps as well. If you need any help with any trix questions in the future or anything, let me know ill try and help you the best i can.

I believe older Vikings, even Excals go for $750 used. You'd have to get your own Pandora/WAS and eyes if you didn't want Nelson/Humprey. Bare bones can go as low as $600.

Yea, another thing about Vikings, i'd only get one with WAS/eyes.

Timmies, I know some have LCD screens and others don't, how does changing the settings differ between the LCD/non-LCD?
