    13 ci hpa tank

Why is it $130?? Anyone know who makes the bottle for that, or if they can find a store with a better price?

I did some digging around and found they are made by Catalina. Supposedly they have 22 ci ones too that are same diameter but longer.

Wonder if Catalina will give me a price on just a bottle over the phone

actually they were first used by ATS on their milsim trainers, you an put a stock over it and put it into the backbottle of an AT-16 or whatever ATS gun you're using.

The pumpplayers just discovered them as a great alternative to CO2...

GetRealPaintball (ATS) sells both 13s and 22s, occasionally they go on sale for $85, without a reg.

It's a niche market, so of course the price will be high.

If it was a 4500 psi tank I'd buy one, but a 13/3000 or a 22/3000 is not worth it.

On my viking thas like 255 shots for the 13 ci and 431 for the 22 ci

if they were 4500 tanks thats would be 382 for the 13, and 646 for the 22.

But thats a viking...most efficiant gun made

On a phantom you can expect 200 or so out of the 13cu...

which is A LOT when playing stock class.

I'd get one for my phantom if I had some extra money. But unfortunately I do not...

Well, if you were using that it wouldn't be stock class anymore would it.

Yea lol, can't use constant air in sc. And even if you could find some 12g style nitro cartridges (they exist, just maybe not that size), you can only use co2 in sc. But yea, those tanks would be freaking sweet for pump play. I've seen em go used for around $100. Maybe you could find one used.

Not true stock class, no, but alot of us will use CA with an SC feed for rec ball, just because 12 grams can get expensive...

Yah, I was just kidding around.

I think this is would be a cool alturnative to 3.5oz CO2 tanks for pump guns if it wasn't so expensive.

I was considering one of these for my Phantom awhile back. Someone made the comment (somewhere, can't remember, one of the pump forums) that the regs on these tanks weren't all that great. Anyone know if this is true?

                            Right...

But back to the subject, I think Punisher used to sell them. I don't know how good the regulators are though.

The expensive part is the regulator, if I'm not mistaken. Unless it's fiber wrapped aluminium, the tank is relatively cheap, be it 13ci or 88ci.
