Were the fields at Skirmish? If so, I am surprised their paint sucked- they used to use RP Scherer exclusively. If it was at Skirmish, what was your impressions of their part in the camp? How many people were there?

Entry if u were staying there was only $700 including infinite air, 2 cases of paint, all meals, transportation, and hotel stay. I thought the camp was awesome. I learned so so so much in that short time. The majority of kids played fair as far as wiping ans such, but holy crap it seemed like everyone w/ an electro had bounce on their triggers. It really didn't bother me though cause the feeling of shooting someone w/ a machine gun w/ my mech mag was just awesomeee. The paint wasn't the best. It was Velocity or somehting along those lines and from what ronn told me the wrapping around the paint during shipment came undone and took a beating. People w/ Impys and timmy's were breaking paint ALOT.(majority of people shot impys or some kind of timmmy). I personally had ONE barrel break the entire camp. The most commmon theme i saw though was problems w/ kids electros. It seemed everytime i turned around someones impy was down. Oh well i had a blast and would def recommend it.

Oh ya, I htink there was 41 people there. It was a low kid to instructor ratio which is awesome.

skirimish wasnt too impressive to me, two hyperball fields and they had to set up the airball just for us

There were 50 campers at the camp and I must disagree with Barrel Break as there are 55+ fields and you only saw 2 so you missed quite a bit. However, it is not a field that caters to the tourney crowd so you are right in that they had to set up a air field for the camp.

As for food that is always left up to the individual taste. Some guys liked it and some didn't... oh well. The weather is under no one's control so there is nothing that Ronn or Don could do about that.

The value of the camp is always left up to the camper. Most of the campers there said they had a blast, learned something, and a few have signed up to come to the Virginia camp in 2 weeks so as they say " you get out of camp what you put in." The value is there when you add it all up. I know I got my money's worth and more.

All in all I give it 2 thumbs up.
