At the field I play at it's free air (co2 or HPA) with your field fee $15.
One of the other fields in the area also does the free air thing aswell.
But the third field charges $.50 an oz.

I work at the local Air Force services squadron field over here at Ramstein and we charge $12 for field fee and $5.00 for all day air (either CO2 or HPA).

Local field charges $ .28 an ounce for CO2 . Makes it a worthwhile item for him to supply.

HPA is $5 all day air. He has his own compressor , so beyond the initial price for the compressor and upkeep its straight profit.

Considering that he will allow BYOP and only charges $15 field fee , $10 equipment rentals , and $50 a case paint, he should be able to make profits where he can.

As to the question. I rarely use CO2 , but it goes pretty far when I do.I also have access to a tank and my own fill station....but I don't think $5 fills/20oz are out of the question.

          If you still use CO2
Ahem, some ppl actually prefer co2. You make it sound like it's 100% inferior.

As for the poll, i vote none of the above. I will fill my 2 20oz's up in my basement for a total of $.75 and go all day.

$5 should be ALL DAY co2 if you ask me.

Around here, one field charges $5 all day air, and another charges only $2 for all day air. No field fees, either. Paint is a bit much though.

My local field - (19 Bunker Airball and 20 Bunker Spool field) (2 chrono stations)

                  $5.00 entry/insurance
$10.00 all day air HPA or CO2
$35.00 a case for Kickn' premium

Only opens 1 weekend a month

It is ran by a tournament team that participates in a couple of regional 3 man series and I think they mainly use the field to fund their paintballing, they are very successful in the tournament series they participate in.

Here the fields dont ussually charge fees but not many people play with CO2 . It is too hot to play long or leave your gun in the sun.
