I have shot both and own a BKO. The one is a glorified spyder, not to bash spyders. The BKO is nice for the money, however if you could save an extra 1-200 bucks you could pickup a used angel lcd/led.

Dragun ones, the guns are like 239 bucks and they are pretty good guns. Just install a 20 buck APM Bolt, 25 gram switch,QEV and nitro and you'll be fine. If you lube the LPR and Regulator well you can get +/-5. Plus the eye works well too. I'll post some videos soon.

i have a dragun the one and i love it!!! the only thing u will need to do to it is put a 25g microswitch and a freak barrel kit on it. make sure to use a super fast hopper like egg or halo and should only use compressed air but if u dont have the money to buy a compressed air tank get an anti siphonned co2 tank

I actually love the triggers on bkos. take the spring adjuster out and you got a fast trigger. GET PDS THOUGH. will save you many headaches.

For the 299 that you want to get a BKO for you could go to either of these sites and get a B2k with PDS for the exact same price, you are going to want the b2k over the bko, the B2K's have a much better parker soliniod, and the LPR on it is the same one they use on the bonebrakes and the shocktechs, they only thing the HPR is good for is my phantom, as soon as you get it put a new one on, the bonebrake techs at my field say the prefered one is a CP or an AKA. If you want good efficency your going to have to buy a new valve, depending on what you want to spend. The vapor valve is perferd it's $39.99 and was origionally designed by AKA, if you cant find one, get the macdev because ICD covers them under stock warrenty, if you want to get kinky get a tornado valve for around $60 but you can really feel the extra 30 in preformance. Most people say they hate the stock bolt but I've found it to be rather nice considering it' mass produced, if your going to upgrade get only bolts with an O-ring, anything else won't get rid of blow-back. a wiring harness if you really want to be special, it has quick disconects if you niod goes down it makes it easier for self repairs. If you want a chaos board there about 79 dollars and will make it feel like a totally different gun, now at this point if all your seeing is dollar sign, it's worth it if you want to make a sleeer, only other people with bushies will know what your running. heres what I have on my gun, and this bad boy can out shot my race cocker and keep u shot for shot with my buddies viking/angel/dm4 and 5/and any timmy.

                  bonebrake bolt and wiring harness
                  cp reg
                  tornado valve
                  chaos board
                  25mg switch
                  Bone brake eyes
                  shocktech LPR piston
                  Vapor works ram mod

and the most expensive up is the board.

The BKO has its own set of problems, owning much (from what I understand) to problems with blow-back from the bolt disturbing the ball stack.

The BKO is also a taller gun from top to bottom and shorter from front to back than the One.

The Dragun One can be fitted with a JAM bolt in the event that its eyes aren't working for one reason or another and One kits are compatible with all Spyder/clone bodies.

The cousin (knock off) of the Dragun One is distributed through Diablo Direct and I've heard nothing but good things about it from Wrath owners.

In this line-up of guns all around $300

                      ICD BKO
                      ICD Bushmaster 2K ('04) with PDS (www.pbgear.com)
                      SP Ion
                      DD Wrath
                      DE One
OGI (what ever their version of "The One" is)

Personally, I'd give the Bushmaster a whirl since it's a darn good price for a gun that usually costs a couple hundred more. Barring avalibility of the B2K I'd probably grab a Wrath since there seem to be some concerns mounting about Dragun Empire's Quality Control.

Owning an Ion I have to say that, well, it's a decent gun, having owned a Bushmaster I have to say that the Bushmaster was definately a bit nicer than the Ion even if it did break more paint (blind).

Ultimately, I have no personal experience with the Wrath/One/Etc. However I do have plenty of experience with the BKO, Ion and Bushmaster 2K. A Friend of mine has had nothing but ball breakage issues with her BKO and has since abandoned it for her Ion (now her Ego). I use my Ion as a back-up for when my E-Mag's acting up, and I sold my Bushmaster 2K to buy a Tippmann A-5 because I didn't like the feel the Bushy (too tall and short) at the time.

The Wrath has recieved a favorable review from 68caliber.com, which I'd sudgest reading if you're seriously looking into getting one.

For the price I'd rather have an Ion.

Think about an Ion or a Promaster. Or a used Freestyle.

My son has a Wrath and it is a very good gun. Very dependable and fast. Well built, and no cheap flimsy parts.
His upgrades are Delrin trigger, Delrin bolt, T-board with ramping.

                                Dragun the One

I owned 2 Dragun T1s. They look like Timmy Clones rather than Spyder upgrades during their initial realease. When they first came out they were roughly $230 with a reflective eye which was pretty nice. But stock out of the box, it was set for CO2, really inconsistent. One of them I heavily upgraded, put more than the value of the gun to make it kinda decent. The other one I left stock as a backup (but didn't really use).

For starters, you could probably check ebay for a cheap one ( like $130-150). But definitely upgrades would have to include bolt, barrel, trigger switch, compressed air. Then High pressure reg, front block and LPR, plus QEVs could be later. I could send you an Office file ( 2mb) with a list of probable upgrades. Probably check it out and make your own decision.

One of the problems I encountered every weekend was that the regs were incosistent weekend to weekend. Always had velocity issues that needed constant adjusting despite lubing them up as directed by folks from the PBNation forum.

                                Hope this helps.
