I'm a mag owner again! YAY!

That's right all :) Looks like I'll be making a bit of a posting / interaction comeback on AO as I'm the proud new owner of a nice new Rogue'd out DevilMag

I was forced to sell my Cyborg due to the fact that I needed some quick cash after losing my day job Don't get me wrong, I LOVE, yes LOVE Cyborg's with a passion still and think that they pack the most bang for your buck in the electro-pneumatic catagory.

So I decided to take the leftover money from my Cyborg and Conquest and invest it all into a purdy new DevilMag setup, YAY!

Here's what my new mag will be sporting when it comes in:

-HyperFrame (TAG Predator II Mod by GA Devil)
-Dual breakbeam eye system (by GA Devil, w00000t!)
-X-Valve w/ ULT
-Black ULE Body
-Winged RogueRail
-RogueNeck
-Vert. ASA w/ Gas-Through Foregrip
-Lapco Bigshot Barrel (Try to get a few extra shots out of her :))

-88/4500 Nitro Duck X-Stream

-Q-Loader (gotta have something to feed this beast!)

I also picked up a level 7 bolt and power tube tip to slap on it when it comes in to pick up the efficiency lost w/ the LX considering I shouldn't need the LX w/ the breakbeam eyes.

Pix and vid will be up as soon as the gun makes it to me, YAY!

Yuppers, I run the COG DPB server :) That's one of my many baby's.... along with the forum, IRC server, and Shoutcast server, lolz.

The second the gun gets to me, there will be pix :) And lots of them... Along with videos if I have air and paint, because we all know how much Frag likes to make videos *if u ever visit COG u would know that, lol*

If i didnt want a new pc, i would have a devil or ule custom by now..

Is the recoil difference a large noticable difference? I could probably live with the efficiency of the level 10 considering I picked up Bigshot which probably will make up for the lost lx efficiency and I decided to slap a 91ci tank to run this thing, lol.

You don't even know how relieved I am to own a mag again... There's something calming about owning a mag, I think it's the fact that they're built like tanks :)

It's tough to compare the two because it all depends on what you specifically want... Do you want the reliability of an all mechanical marker w/ a great speed increase? Or do you want an even larger speed increase and reduced chops but have to rely upon electronics. It seems like a personal preference issue to me. Personally I'd rather have a DevilMag over a hAir mag.

how much did that all cost you?

It cost me $825 for the gun itself with me supplying my own rail (they are $850 w/ the stock am/mm rail). $150 for the X-Stream (used off of PBN), $50 for the bigshot, and about $50 for all of the other little parts.

i do remember noticing a large amount of difference when i originally swapped from LVl7 to LX. i found it to be far less recoil with LX becauase the bolt is much lighter weight. I also noticed very little decrease in efficiancy too. I'd say stick with LX but use the shortest spring since you should never have to hear "chuff chuff" with break beam

Alright it sounds like it's in my best interest to stick with the LX, so for now that is what I shall do :)
