    pro-connect or slidecheck Question

Hey all Supper Newbee here once again.

Okes i finally have every thing up and running on my gun, so i do not have to use any of my friends now.

I have one small problem .. I really do not like taking out the back of the Lvl 10 to get the 400 psi down to zero.
I am running Macro line on a Inline tank what would be better a Pro-Connect or A Slidecheck.

The gun works fine other wise. I am pretty dang happy with it. I have ran Evil Paint through it and Marbs and they both work fine . At about 50 yards it has a nice patteren to it. Only had a few balls curve.

How can i fine tune it .. I know it adjust in the back but how would i tell by how much to adjust it.

Thanks for all the help so far

AGD does not make the Pro-Connect.

Quick disconnect is cheaper and does its job just fine

The quick disconnect is not designed to work with any significant residual pressure in the line. Since level 10 keeps some pressure in the line, you still need some sort of bleed device. A Pro-Connect or a Slide Check is the appropiate product. If you have a screw-in tank, you don't need to bleed the line, since disconnecting the tank does that.

Personally I use a slide check. It's not rated for the line pressures Mags need, so it eats O-Rings once and a while. I found a Female-Female version and attached it to my Flatline directly. This allows me to bleed the line easily and not have anything hanging off the valve.

i use a proconnect. i think that it is cleaner looking then a combination slidecheck and qd.

I use a proconnect on my Automag RT. Looks nice, works great for bleeding. However I don't know where you can buy them anymore?

My proshop had one last proconnect

Check with your proshop. Since it doesn't really seem like markers are needing a way to bleed the lines anymore, they may have some just collecting dust. I was going to go with the slide check and QD, but then I saw how huge the slide check was

If you can find the Proconnect, get it. If not, only other option is the slide check.

There is always the purge valve for a fraction of the cost. I've had mine for about a year and I dont know how I survived without it. I have a slidecheck on the other mag and it likes to blow orings, the purge valve has never given me even a hint of trouble. Get 'em here, second product from the bottom:

Do you have an on/off in your line. Because if you have a macroline then you can just pull it out.

Where does that go in? Maybe if you could post a photo I would understand....

I have mine in my on/off, which has 2 output holes. The purge just screws into any available 1/8 hole (same as the airhose connections) between the tank and the valve. I don't know if that made any sense, so ill post a pic when i get home.
