Has some potential. It looks like the wood is pretty thin. If it isnt enough to support the weight of a marker, use that as a templet and use something like 1/2 inch wood or something.
Hey, look at that! It's Santa!

As was mentioned, it looks a bit thin. I recommend a thicker base for a stand to help support the weight of the marker.

Keep up the good work though and the creative juices flowing!

Tilt your head to the right. I see two arms pointed up with a head with a "crown" that has 3 spikes. That's just my crazy imagination though...

"I'm leaving on a jet plane dont know when I'll be back again. dont know the rest of the words, parents yelling for me to shut up." gc82000 sings, but not as bad as Ben Afleck.
that just made me thnk of it, dont know why? Maybe because that is what it looks like.

sorry forgot to say that loks really cool.

Look by the top pointy thing, that wood looks thick enough to me.

Im with gc8200 with the "leaving on a jet plane thing", but overall looks good, run with it. Maybe go to a thicked base if you dont think it can handle the marker but Im loving the look of the base!

It look's like a piece of 1/2" or at least 1/4" plywood to me. Both of those would easily hold up a marker.

Its 1/2" ply wood. I dont no what color im going to paint it but i thought it looked kinda like a fish too.

                        Fish-Rocket!

And on the parts that go up to hold the barrel and tank, how far apart should i put them??? Like a foot or so is what im thinking, but im really not that sure.

Also, how high up should the barrel support be???? The one i have is like 10 inches tall it think but it looks pretty darn tall.

Any color recomendations cause i suck at picking kool colors.
